What we collect

When you order, request a quote or create an account we collect: your name, email, phone number, delivery address (including a map location if you drop a delivery pin), and order history. Payment details are handled entirely by our payment providers (PayFast and 6DOT50) — we never see or store them.

How we use it

To process and deliver your orders, provide quotes and invoices, run your hosting and projects, respond to enquiries, and send you service messages about your orders and accounts (order confirmations, tracking, renewal notices).

We only send marketing messages if you ask for them, and you can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Only what's needed to serve you: our suppliers and couriers receive your name, contact number and delivery address to fulfil orders; PayFast and 6DOT50 process your payments. We never sell your personal information.

Your rights (POPIA)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Email support@socialmediaguru.co.za and we will respond within a reasonable time. You can update most details yourself in your account.

Security & retention

Passwords are stored using strong one-way hashing. Access to customer data is restricted and our systems use encrypted connections (SSL). We keep transaction records for as long as tax law requires, and account data for as long as your account is active.

Cookies

We use only functional cookies: keeping you signed in and keeping your cart. We don't use third-party advertising cookies.
